The Top 2015 Fall Fashion Trends

The season is here! Layers, boots, jackets and new trends will hit the streets. Let’s cover a few trends you may want to try this season.

The Flounced Hem

Add a bit of femininity to your looks with a flounced hem. We have seen it with the peplum tops and dresses but this season, it will be all about the hem on dresses and skirts.

Car Wash Pleats

The car wash pleat is a variation of fringe that looks good on just about anyone. Large separated pleats that dangle over your legs will add a bit of glamour and femininity to your look.

Ponchos & Capes

Whether western style or modern chic, ponchos and capes will be the “it girl” warm up for this fall/winter.

The look of luxury, softness and glamour, velvet will get it’s time to shine this fall/winter.

Victorian Inspired Styles

The look of the 19th century has emerged once again. Modest, feminine and romantic fashion including ruffles, lace, bows and concealed necks in loose draping with eye-catching patterns and cuts.

Floral Prints

Perhaps the most feminine pattern in fashion, floral prints will still be on trend this fall. Instead of pastel and light tone backgrounds, winter floral will be contrasted with black and dark tones.

Meet Your New Fashionable Friend: How the First Truly Automated Stylist Works

Hi, I’m Rani, the founder of guide2style. After a cross-country move for my new career I needed a fashion makeover to reflect my now very different professional and social life. I needed someone that could help me look my best for every occasion. But as a female engineer with nerdy male co-workers I had no one to turn to.

So I invented a fashionable friend. By studying over 150,000 rules of style I was able to create a program that provided event specific advice that ‘optimized’ me, yet stayed true to my style and personality. I named her guide2style.

My friend is now available to you. After creating a quick profile and specifying your event, guide2style will advise you, then pull from over 10,000 garments to put together outfits that suit your body type, taste and personality.

It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s fun! Just below you can see how she works, and I do hope you visit the site and enjoy using guide2style as much as I do.

Cocktail Hour for the Bohemian Fashionista

Every Image 1fashionista needs a cocktail ready ensemble in her arsenal. Whether you’re going to happy hour after a hard day of work or hitting the town for a girls’ night out, the perfect cocktail dress will help you start your night out right.

For those with bohemian style, flowy and free is the way to go. An a-line silhouette allows you to accentuate your waistline while still skimming your lower body. A printed piece, such as paisley or floral, will bring a new twist to a classic piece.

Dodge the summer heat by sticking to lightweight fabrics such as cotton that won’t cling. Simple accessories such as wedges or sandals and a small clutch will finish off the look.

Dress well.
